I was honoured to be asked to speak at the Global Sustainable Development Summit, hosted by GCPIT, about SDG 9 — Building resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.
Like every other SDG, SDG 9 has sub-targets and indicators that help us keep track of what needs to be done, by when, and the progress made.
SDG 9 has a rather interesting sub target, 9.C. This target is particularly interesting because, unlike many others, the deadline is (was) 2020.
So for my talk, seeing as it was 2021, I decided to look a little deeper into the importance of SDG 9.C, what’s been achieved and what is yet to be done.
